Brain Injury
Brain injury is often referred to as the “Invisible Injury”. In many cases, after all other physical symptoms have healed, the impact of the injury and the suffering experienced by the survivor remains unseen by those around them. This can be isolating to navigate, and you may feel frustrated or misunderstood; leading to feelings of anxiety and depression. Head injuries can complicate your ability to remember, pay attention, or manage your emotions like you once could. You may blurt things out that make others angry with you or even find simple, every day tasks to be exhausting and overwhelming.
I am a skilled therapist with a deep understanding of the injured brain. I use a wide aware of techniques and resources to address the whole picture of a life turned up side down by brain injury. We will develop a customized toolbox of strategies so you can confidently take on your life and navigate the new path ahead of you.
